We're Back!

We got back last night from a week with my parents. We had a great time and are quite exhausted. You know, in that fun way where we had a lot of fun and did a lot of stuff.

We took the plane, possibly for the last time if ticket prices keep going up like they say they will. Every time we fly the Bug likes to look at the airplane information and safety card. I finally got a picture of her reading it. She looks so serious, cracks me up.

We went to the lake, a children's museum, I got to see my best friend (we've known each other since we were twelve!), met my new nephew and just hung out. That's the bug on top of a Stegosaurus.



This is a plastic container I found on my mother's bread machine. That's what was in it. I thought that was the most random thing I just had to take a picture of it. My mom claims not to know anything about this box. I think it represents my parents fairly well.

Last but not at all least is the yarn. The pinkish stuff on the left is my Virginia 2008 trip yarn from this cute yarn shop in Carry Town. On the right is the yarn my mom (Ravelry because I can't seem to find her Blog!) brought me from Spain and Italy. Cool! She spent three weeks in Spain doing an immersion language thing. Crazy I know!

I have been knitting and have some stuff to show but that is for another day. I'm off to catch up on laundry!
