simple

I always have multiple projects on the needles. When I first started knitting I never would have imagined myself with multiple projects; it isn't really my personality. I like to start something and finish it. The way I can handle multiple projects is because I don't see them as being the same. I have a sock; the sock is the only knitting to leave the house (other than knit group). The sock is also the only knitting upstairs. I knit on it in the morning with my morning coffee and when I'm reading to The Bug. Then there is the downstairs knitting. This is the in front of the TV knitting. Usually there are one or two pieces going. A complex something; lots of crazy cables or lace or color work. And a simpler thing. Simple apparently is open to interpretation in my world. With two lace projects (oh wait three; but one's not being worked on now) on the needles my complex slot is full. So what do I put in my simple slot? What am I knitting when the husband is home and I just can't do the lace?

Lithuanian Color Work. Right... Simple.... Back view. I'm saying all this so you will understand my state of obvious insanity. And so you'll forgive the crazy number of mistakes on this thing. This thing by the way is Aguona Laptop Bag kit from Knit Picks. We're going on a trip this summer and the laptop needs a bag. What? You bought yours? hmmmm....
