Knits well after sunset

We are on a mini-vacay.  Just the three of us. A trip to somewhere we've not been before without family.  Oooooh! We are having fun and doing lots of stuff. 
I brought these two knitting things.  The second clue for Oh Summer came out today.  Still nothing about the beads...mysterious.  Also the second of Spock Socks. 
In the car there is also a pair of traveling socks.  More about that when the traveling is done.  Though I don't think the socks will be.
