Dizzy up the house

Round and round it goes. The rug is finished. This was the project that would not end. From getting the fabric, to cutting it up, to sewing it together, to the endless garter. That may sound like complaining but it really isn't. It was fun in it's way. I'm glad I wasn't too anxious for the rug, then it might not have been as much fun. Cutting the fabric into strips was surprisingly soothing. Considering I'm not a sewer this is surprising. Sewing the fabric wasn't even all that bad. It took a long time mostly because I just wouldn't sit down for too long to sew. The knitting while just being boring garter wasn't made more fun by seeing the fabrics work together. Making the fabric face the right way also kept me paying attention. It liked to twist and it didn't always twist in a nice cooperative way that made the outside of the fabric face out. And here it is in it's new home in the home. I've wanted a rag rug for under this chair for a long time. It's good to have a place to sit when the dizzy takes over you.
