Every morning I am woken up by a little Bug. We get up I make myself coffee and get her a banana and a piece of cheese. She likes to wrap a piece of cheese around her banana. I don't ask. We then sit down in the living room. Me with the sock, Bug with a book. Generally we get up around 7. At 8 we go in and wake up Mr. Gnome and start our day. That quite beginning of the day is so nice and when it doesn't happen for whatever reason the day is just usually a bit harder.The sock in case you are wondering, and I know you are, is Cookie A.'s Stricken and yarn is Lorna's Laces.

i love this photo. you need to print it, frame it, and hang it on your wall. peaceful, calm, relaxing . . . a perfect start to each morning. and all this is said by someone who hates coffee and cannot knit. :0)
Meghan is right, that is a good photo, it captures the moment. I know what you mean about the iportance of the morning routine.
