Istanbul

 Yesterday I finished these socks.  Less than a month is fast for socks these days. 

 I really like them.  First of all they are a lovely shade of blue.  How can I not love that?

But I love the pattern too.  So lacey and intricate and the flow is great.  The blue with this Istanbul titled pattern is perfect.  I want to make the other socks in this month's mailing in this very light grey for Mr. Gnome.  Artemis is the pattern after the temple and it's one reconstructed pillar.  I think it'll be nice in grey and I think it'll be nice for Mr. Gnome.  Someday I'll do that.  Oh the sock plans; they are ever growing.
