Or is it?

A while back I bought this yarn online.  Post Holidays actually,  mmmmm yarny gift cards.  Online it looked a lot more purple. You recall the purple jag I was on.  I got it and was a bit bummed by all the pink.  It sat in the drawer rejected for it's pinkness.

I've thought a bit about what to do with it.  Lace weight, single ply merino is not for the kid.  I didn't really feel it was for me.  

 Then I wound it up and it looked quite a bit less pink. hmmmmm.

Then I started knitting and the pink is barely there.  ooooh.  It will be a gift for the Holidays.  Sometimes with yarn you just don't know what you are going to get.
